Lights are on in Lonsdale

Lonsdale is the premium industrial estate in southern Adelaide, acting as a gateway to the city to the north and the Fleurieu Peninsula to the south.
The area has attracted a plethora of investors in the past year buying land for new developments and business locations.

Council’s Economic Growth and Investment Officer Glenn Hickling says Lonsdale businesses have proven to be quite resilient during the difficult times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of council’s response to the pandemic-related pressures put on businesses in 2020, a resolution was made in October to focus on supporting local businesses to ensure their ongoing recovery and growth.
